House for an Artist 

Alterations and additions to a semi-detached house in Mount Merrion

The client, an artist, was influenced by Miami beachfront properties and sought a ‘sugar cube’ expression for the new additions. Existing features of stairs, balustrades and finishing trim were renewed with a pared down palette of materials.

Frameless corner windows are placed to the rear within two sliding cubes to maximise views over a cascading south facing garden.
